There is a good range of extra curricular activities, mostly provided through the Ripon Extended Schools programme. These vary from term to term and are available to different groups of children. In addition to sports activities, there are also sessions for drama, art and craft, computers skills and chess.

Sports sessions take place at lunchtime or after school. Musical activities include the school orchestra and choirs for special occasions at certain times of the year.
